Poems about Artists
A Series of Poems inspired by Artists.
Damien Hirst
Damien Hirst's work has
inspired a generation. His
obsession with death and
life will enlighten you.
He has made many master-
pieces which have brought
us close to death itself.
One of his many pieces he
has given the world is the
diamond skull.
Although most of his pieces
are about death, he is very
much alive and his is still
making pieces that will
always amaze and
sometimes confuse us.
But what we will never
forget, is that wherever he
goes death will follow
Callum Duncan, Red Tie
I am going to tell you about a man
who has a good life span
he was a famous art worker
I don't know if he ever played poker
But he worked hard at his job
A famous artist he was
He made brilliant art
He really was smart!

Nelson's Ship in a Bottle
Many journey to Trafalgar Square,
at Nelson's bottle the will gaze and stare.
Fine fabric sails, wooden masts,
next to lions showing Nelson's triumph in the past.
Yinka Shonibare is now an artist to remember
like Guy Faulks on the 5th of November.
Daniel Willis, Blue Tie
